Have you ever just STOPPED and wondered about this?

You see those "before and after" pics of people who lost tremendous weight. But the "before" picture always looks YEARS OLD.

Why are these people hiding the pictures right before they started the diet?

When you see someone's week-by-week photos, there's no way to dispute what you're witnessing as you watch someone else's body just shrink right in front of your eyes.

Proving every diet is not perfect, read the words of a carb craving man..

"Even with a minimum of cheating 5 times during the course of 30 days, watch with your own eyes as Jim Morris removes 8 inches of fat week-by-week from around just his belly and how you can realistically do it, too!"

We are very grateful for Jim giving us the chance to allow us access to his journal entries.

30-Day Low Carb Plan Success Stories:
Case File: "The Hubby with Two Kids and the Junk Food"

Okay, started this low carb diet on Monday, August 30, 2004, and weighed in at 204 pounds.

As always, I'm optimistic, but hope I don't have to go through those hunger pains.

Did pretty good throughout the week, but felt some really strong carb cravings during the day time. Made sure to pick up some nuts at the market for snack time.

Took my picture on Monday, September 6, 2004.

This is "My first big weigh in." I'm a little nervous since I cheated Friday night and had a triple Chocolate Nestle Crunch ice cream cone at 9:00 p.m. (worst time to eat anything)

I promised to take my family out on Friday night, so I even had to skip my 30DLC meal. I ordered from the Low Carb menu at Denny's.

Thrilled that I ended up 4 pounds lighter on Monday when I weighed in. Plus, this low carb thing is really all over the place. I took my daughter out to the beach on Saturday and saw one of those advertising propeller planes fly by with a Miller Lite banner. Said, "Great Taste. Less Filling. Half the Carbs of Bud Light."

I decided to get back into my walking program that was going really well 3 months ago.

Right now, since the beginning of this plan, I've only walked about 6 times out of 14 days, so I know I could increase my weight loss if I just walked a few extra days.

Went to San Francisco the weekend of the tenth and so again, I had to rely on my low carb instincts to eat again. First time I've ever had a Low Carb Margarita at a restaurant.

The problem I forgot was to plan ahead with low carb snacks. Because, the first night in our hotel room, I nearly ate the basket that came with the bread. Yes, I wiped the bread out. So this wasn't a good weekend. ;o(

Yet, I still can't believe, I'm still losing weight.

Wow, Day 21 and I'm still hanging in there and my confidence is high.

I'm noticing that my pants are really starting to fall off and I can't go anywhere without a belt on. Before, the mere pressure of my big stomach was enough to hold any pants of mine on.

The food tastes wonderful and filling, the snacks and the watering jug are really saving me. I feel I'm starting to really pick up momentum heading into the final stretch of this plan.

I can't believe I'm finally down to 193. I got down this far the last time I tried a low carb diet. However, I had no maintenance plan. But, this time, I can really tell a big difference in my pants and the weight loss over my entire body.

Wow, what an amazing loss of inches for only 30 days. I feel like totally a different person. Plus, my energy is so much higher.

It's like a totally radical change was unkertaken here.

I cheated this week with my daughter's fruit snacks we buy for her lunch. Even though I had this one really carb attack, I went right back on track the next day. I'm felling very greatful for finding Scot and his plan. And more importantly, I'm starting to understand that low carb should be more of a lifestyle to me. Since the last low carb diet, I returned to eating breads, pastas, etc., and my weight got way out of control.

Really starting to realize the foods I need to avoid in order to keep this sexy body looking good.

Wow! Yes! I can finally fit in my pants, tuck in my shirt and also put a belt on. (I went without buying belts because, I mean, what's the point when I had no clue how big I would become.)

I'm excited! ;o)

The 30 days went by quicker than I thought it would. In fact, it didn't even seem like I was on a diet.
